students take part in career connect manchester event at MST on May 8

MANCHESTER – On Thursday, more than 100 students from the Class of 2025 took part in Manchester School District's first Career.Connect.Manchester. hiring event.

Students from all four District high schools as well as sending towns had the opportunity to take part in a day of:

  • Showcasing communication, resilience, and professionalism skills

  • Networking with top local employers

  • Submitting resumes and applications for open positions

Many seniors left with meaningful connections, submitted resumes and applications—and some even received job offers on the spot. For employers, this event highlighted the talent and readiness of our Manchester students. This is thanks, in part, to support from our partners at Southern New Hampshire University career services, who helped prepare students for this event.

Thank you to participating employers, including Aroma Joe's, City of Manchester, City Year, Coca-Cola, Comcast Xfinity, Elliot Health, Globe Manufacturing, Oliver Mechanical Inc., and Primary Bank, for offering real, immediate opportunities to our graduates.
