Education and Developmental Science
Our 2-year program is designed to prepare students to work in various educational environments. This program integrates theory, research and current practices across multiple disciplines and focuses on meeting the needs of all students. Participation in this program will provide students with the foundational knowledge in teaching and phycology and pursue further education and career opportunities in Teaching, Child Phycology, Special Education, School Counseling, Social Work, Health Services, Addiction Counseling, Community Agencies serving children, youth and families and many other fields and disciplines related to the Education & Developmental Science.
This program is taught in collaboration with the Manchester Community College, and students will have the opportunity to:
Earn college credits.
Receive several Industry Recognized Credentials that will help students find high quality employment.
Choose to participate in the iTEACH Apprenticeship Program.
Meet leaders in their field through classroom guest speakers and visits to colleges as well as internships, job shadows and hands-on projects and activities.
